Background and Objective: This research, based on the theoretical foundations of "human capital development" and "organizational leadership", designs a model that shows how, in the era of knowledge-based economy, education and training activities can be aligned with the development of knowledge-based companies, with the focus on the role of managers in the "leadership" board
Methodology: This research was qualitative-quantitative in terms of method, and a purposeful method was used for sampling. The first phase of the research method was qualitatively based on interviews, and the opinions of 35 experts and educational specialists in the field of leadership and knowledge-based activities were used. The interviews were conducted in a semi-structured manner, and then the content of the interviews was examined by the researchers in order to code and categorize the content. In the second phase of the research method, the relationships between the components were analyzed and examined quantitatively with structural-interpretive modeling.
Findings: From the total of 35 interviews conducted, initially 134 codes and 44 subcategories were extracted, and then by analyzing these codes and subcategories, finally 18 main categories were extracted. In the next step, in order to establish a conceptual connection between the identified categories, we classified them into seven levels.
Conclusion: Based on the results, it can be said that the leadership role of managers, as a key component with high influence, is able to organize other actions of the education organization as the main driver to create a sustainable and effective link with the ecosystem of knowledge-based companies
