Context and Purpose: As the driving force of the knowledge-based economy, knowledge-based companies play a key role in the comprehensive development of the country with a knowledge-based approach, as well as the synergy of science and wealth, economic development, and commercialization of research and development results. These companies often operate in complexes such as science and technology parks, whose main goal is to increase the wealth of society by developing a culture of innovation and increasing competitiveness. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors affecting knowledge-based education using a meta-synthesis approach.
Methodology: The present qualitative research was conducted with a meta-synthesis approach. For this purpose, 49 high-quality articles were identified between 2004 and 2021 and 1388 and 1400. The work process included extracting key concepts and topics from the articles, which ultimately led to the identification and examination of the factors affecting knowledge-based education in the form of 3 main factors.
Findings: The research findings show the identification and classification of factors affecting knowledge-based education. These factors are organized into three main categories, including the knowledge-based innovators category (such as start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and spin-offs), the providers category (other sections available in the text), and another main category, which together provide a comprehensive framework of influential factors.
Conclusion: The main conclusion indicates that effective and developmental training in knowledge-based companies is a function of the interrelationship and influence of the three main factors identified (knowledge-based innovators, providers, and the third factor). By providing a meta-composite conceptual framework, this research provides the basis for developing targeted training policies and programs tailored to the needs of companies located in science and technology parks, which can help develop justice and increase wealth in society through innovation.
