The present study aimed to investigate the effect of abusive supervision on organizational gossip behavior through the dark triad of personality. The present study was applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive in terms of its data collection method, and was of the correlation type. The statistical population of the present study consisted of all employees of universities in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, 2200 people, of whom 327 people were selected as a sample through the Morgan table through the stratified random sampling method.The research tools were Tepper's (2000) Abusive Supervision Questionnaire, Han and Dogg's (2018) Organizational Gossip Questionnaire, and Jennison and Wister's (2010) Dark Triad Personality Questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaires was examined based on content, face, and construct validity, and after the necessary terms, the validity was confirmed. On the other hand, the reliability of the questionnaires was estimated by Cronbach's alpha method as 0.92, 0.91, and 0.90, respectively. Data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling. The findings showed that abusive supervision has a positive effect on organizational gossip behavior, with an impact coefficient of 0.77, and the dark triad personality played a role as a mediating variable in the relationship between abusive supervision and organizational gossip behavior
